A Happy butterfly drawn on the Kitchen wall couple of weeks back.
Couple of days later another drawing only this time the happy face has some tears rolling down. The body of the butterfly is missing.
Some time last week another drawing; the butterfly is back, only this time it is sad and crying something happened that caused this transition. When I checked with the child I was told that the butterfly sustained some injury and that is why it is crying…… The child also showed me to another picture…..
The dot in the right wing is the injury said the child. Now if you look at the previous picture the butterfly has 2 legs, which kind of indicates that since it has injured its wings it is not able to fly like before and hence walking….. Now the butterfly can be very symbolic, in representing the human….. Butterflies are such graceful beings… Is the child sending us a message that in their world they are no longer happy and free….. Are children today quickly being transformed to adults….. The injury on the wing kind of sounded like the butterfly got grounded or something,…. something or the surroundings are creating a bondage in the free roaming of the soul and its infinite creativity…. the child is just 5 years however the amount of stress they go through everyday in the guise of education, comparisons and competitions are inflicting injuries, not physical but in the mind and descending into the underlying realms of thought….. These subtle injuries could/would grow into conflicting thoughts and actions which lacerate the views of the individual in their growing years…. a dormant volcano waiting to erupt…. Some similar eruptions that we are seeing in recent times….
Is this why we see so much chaos, destruction, behavioural issues and other pains in society…. In the rat race we are building a future of destruction…. We do not have time for anything today, are we moving towards a time of nothing….
